Bike to a greener world?

Is this not the best idea ever?

The theory (brought to you by Design 21) behind this is that while you bike you release bubbles that are laced with a seedling mixture.
The bubbles trail behind your bicycle and land along the edges of the sidewalk where they will eventually blossom into wonderful green flowers and plants.

In more news about adding a sense of beauty to our urban streets, Martin Lihs (for his student thesis at Bauhas-University in Weimer, Germany), has created the "WiiSpray" can.

It's all the workings of a WiiMote packed inside of a spraypaint can. He hopes to create a communal, online spray paint community for people to create their own personal tags and share them with the rest of the world.

The latest from the interwebs.

Today, while checking my blogs I often frequent I came across two gems of our modern-day, technologically advanced culture.

First on the list is brought to you by The Stranger
That's right, folks, bacon...in a can.
Need I say more?

Well, actually, I need to say more. For shortly after I discovered bacon-in-a-can, I found something that can not only be combined with bacon-in-a-can, but may, in fact, be even more disturbing.

A cheeseburger-in-a-can.
Who would have believed it?

This one is brought to you courtesy of Gizmodo

Terrifying, no?

Under the weather....

I've stolen my title for today from a wonderful KT Tunstall song, but it still says the truth.
I started to get a sore throat about three days ago and at this point it has escalated to a heavy cough and an inability to talk as usual. I sound reminiscent to either a frog, or (in my opinion) the little kid from the shining who screams "REDRUM!"

While fairly amusing, it means I haven't been feeling up to much. Just coughing and sniffling to report.

A somewhat productive day...

I had all these plans of having a productive day today, and only some of them came to fruit. =/
I began reading Freakonomics last night, and it's incredibly fascinating. I'll be sure to report more after I've actually finished the book (should I find the time). I also created and began cutting out the pattern pieces for a doll(s) I am hoping to fashion the the near (hopefully) future.

I also got this brilliant idea to create this interesting star/night-sky inspired makeup application and then to take lots of wonderful pictures that I could show here....
The only problem being that when I reached for my somewhat finicky camera, it instantly stopped working (in a way where I don't know if I can fix it). Perhaps when my mom gets home from her training I can borrow her camera, otherwise this particular look shall just have to be lost to the pages of blogging history.
